Stuck on Stupid

Trent Lott has been chosen Minority Whip in the Senate. It's not the "remarks considered racially insensitive" that are the biggest problem. The guy is a major porkster. There are worse things than to allow the senator from post-Katrina Mississippi to take home a bunch of bacon, but naming him Minority Whip makes it look like party policy.
